Asian Spiced Back Ribs with Honey Soy Glaze

- 4 lb2 kgCanadian Pork Back Ribs
- 1/2 cup125 mLbrown sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp35 mLground ginger
- 1/2 tsp2 mLsalt
- 1/4 tsp1 mLcayenne pepper
- 1 tsp5 mLpepper
- 1 tsp5 mLgarlic powder
- 1/2 cup125 mLhoney
- 1/2 cup125 mLreduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp10 mLmustard
- 2 tsp10 mLWorcestershire sauce
- 4-5 drops4-5 dropshot pepper sauce
Directions
Lift and peel the skin from the back of each rack of ribs. Combine brown sugar, ginger, salt, cayenne pepper, pepper and garlic powder. Rub generously over both sides of each rack. Roast at 350ºF (180ºC) for about 1 1/2 hours. (Cover loosely with foil if ribs are browning too quickly.) Meanwhile, combine honey, soy sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Remove ribs from oven when done. Brush all over with glaze. Wrap each rack in foil. Keep warm and marinate for at least one hour.
